What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cage Supervisor position at Rising Star Casino?
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensure excellent guest relations.
- Post bets from patrons and redeem Sports Wagering Operations tickets or vouchers through the allocated Bet America Sports Casino system.
- Control cash levels between cage areas.
- Handle currency, checks, and chips.
- Assist with credit related activities such as processing credit applications.
- Communicate with pit personnel.
- Supervise all Cage Cashiers, develop schedules, train.
- Perform day-to-day operations of cage cashiering and credit functions.
- Assist in balancing windows/banks and Main Bank.
- Follow established procedures, and internal control policies.
- All other duties as assigned with the normal operation of a Cashiers Cage.
- Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
Other Job Functions:
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience Required: Three years’ experience as a Cage Cashier. Supervisor experience preferred.
- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Ability to perform mathematics functions, ability to effectively interact with people. Must have ability to meet tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Marine and/or Security departments during times of emergency or otherwise, as required of the crew of a Coast Guard certified vessel.
- Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 2.
- Other Specialized Requirements: Ability to work any shift, ability to lift 25 pounds frequently.
