What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Charge Bookkeeper position at Risk Management Advisors?
Responsibilities:
• Handle all aspects of bookkeeping, including A/P, A/R, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, and cash flow reports
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Handle insurance policies/ workman’s comp audits
• Reconcile monthly credit card statements
• Vehicle registration renewals
• Send monthly invoices/statements to clients
• Manage vendor payments, expense tracking, and job cost accounting.
• Coordinate with external CPAs for tax filings and financial audits
• Maintain organized financial records and ensure accurate data entry
Requirements:
• 5 years of full-charge bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
