Account Manager-Mid-Market Commercial Lines

We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join our Commercial Team in a hybrid capacity which includes 2-3 days a week in the office. This strategic advisor role will play an integral part in developing cohesive relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coverage related inquiries and analysis, driving renewal efforts, and partnering with Producers on prospective marketing initiatives.

Your Impact:

• Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectations
• Leverage commercial P&C insurance knowledge and expertise to actively service existing accounts and develop new business opportunities
• Foster an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers in AMS accordingly
• Nurture professional relationships through the facilitation of personal client meetings and consistent client contact
• Participate in the retention of renewal business. Interacting with producers to prepare specifications, applications, underwriting data and related information in the marketing of insurance products
• Ensure the client has continuous and proper coverage and advising the client of any recommendations within a mutually established timeline
• Review current policies and providing recommendations regarding placement options. Utilizing coverage checklists and a network of industry contacts to determine appropriate coverage and premiums
• Support the implementation of new lines of coverage by setting up accounts, collecting needed documentation, and reviewing plan details with Client and Carrier
• Execute coverage analysis as needed as well as provide the client with accurate quotes for any additional coverages

Successful Candidate Will Have:

• 4-5 years’ experience of Commercial Lines client management experience; Valid P&C license, Industry specific designations preferred- CISR, ARM or similar; Proficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360 and Work Smart preferred
• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Lines underwriting, coverage, rate analysis/procedures & experience reporting
• Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters, including compliance and legislative information; Understanding of marketplace trends and best practices to best meet client needs
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 - $100,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
