Rist-Frost-Shumway Engineering, P.C. (RFS), a growing 100 -person consulting engineering firm with offices in Laconia, NH, Boston, MA, and Portland, ME is seeking candidates to join our talented and team-focused staff.
RFS project types include college/university, healthcare, laboratory, private secondary school, public K-12 school, commercial, industrial, government, and historic preservation - all with a focus on sustainable design.
Construction Administrator position requires a strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing/fire protection systems construction. Experience working in the trades at the foreman, project manager, or MEP coordinator level is desirable. Position entails receiving/reviewing Submittals and RFI's, performing project site visits throughout project construction phases, and working as part of a team with engineers, architects, contractors, and building owners. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as ability to navigate web-based construction management sites to interact with ongoing projects.
