Overview
We are seeking a Lean/Continuous Improvement Manager to lead process optimization efforts across six manufacturing locations in the Southeast Region. This newly created role will focus on implementing Lean methodologies, driving efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be centrally located in NC and travel as needed to oversee operations in SC, AL, and GA.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Implement and sustain Lean practices to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Standardize processes across multiple facilities.
- Train teams and supervisors on Lean methodologies and best practices.
- Analyze KPIs and performance data to measure the success of initiatives.
- Drive cultural buy-in for continuous improvement among long-tenured staff.
- Work closely with plant managers, operations teams, and safety managers.
- Ensure process improvements align with safety and sustainability goals.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience).
- Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (or equivalent Lean Management experience).
Experience & Skills:
- 5 years of experience in Lean/Continuous Improvement, process optimization, or operations leadership.
- Proven track record of delivering measurable results in manufacturing, logistics, or service industries.
- Skilled in Lean tools and methodologies like 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, and Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt certification is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Experienced in managing projects and change in dynamic environments.
- Proficient with process mapping software (Visio experience is a plus).
- Knowledge of agile methodologies or frameworks.
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills, including conducting workshops and Kaizen events.
- Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement and engaging teams.
- Basic proficiency in Excel and Word (charts, graphs, and analytics).
- Experience with Amtech software is a plus.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
