About the Role
A fast-growing, elite general rental equipment company operating across the Northwest is seeking a skilled Store Manager for its Hood River store.
We are looking for a qualified and ambitious individual with exceptional leadership skills to ensure equipment and overall store operations meet our quality standards, are punctual, observe all safety measures, and deliver exceptional customer service.
As a Store Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead an amazing team from sales and service to maintenance and drivers. Your team will be responsible for delivering exceptional and informed customer service and building a profitable location through your leadership and business skills.
Typical Responsibilities
- Meet store revenue and corporate goals while maintaining cost controls
- Manage contract administration, staffing plans, and strategies to meet staffing needs
- Ensure meeting of corporate safety objectives and monitoring shop and parts inventory costs and equipment service levels
- Implement store customer satisfaction goals and maintain data accuracy and timeliness for selected processes
- Oversee staff training and overall daily operations
Key Responsibilities & Work
- Manage department budgets and track progress
- Hire, train, and develop employees; schedule staff to meet demand
- Evaluate and implement store operational processes
- Monitor key business measures and ensure service levels meet demand
- Maximize merchandise sales and ensure inventory levels are efficient and cost-effective
- Manage cross-functional projects involving documentation, task assignment, and tracking milestones and status
- Ensure effective communication throughout the store and to top management
Requirements
