This group will typically handle several key responsibilities :
System Integration : Ensuring seamless integration of various IT systems and platforms used in PBM operations. This includes integrating pharmacy management systems, claims processing systems, and customer service platforms to ensure smooth data flow and operational efficiency
Project Management : Overseeing the delivery of IT projects related to PBM. This involves coordinating with different teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope
Platform Maintenance and Upgrades : Regularly maintaining and upgrading IT platforms to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest technologies and compliant with regulatory requirements. This includes implementing new features, fixing bugs, and enhancing system performance
Data Management and Analytics : Managing large volumes of data generated by PBM operations. This includes ensuring data accuracy, security, and availability, as well as leveraging data analytics to provide insights that can improve decision-making and operational efficiency
User Support and Training : Providing support and training to users of PBM platforms. This includes troubleshooting issues, offering training sessions, and creating user manuals and documentation to help users effectively utilize the platforms
Vendor Management : Collaborating with external vendors and service providers to ensure that third-party solutions and services are effectively integrated and aligned with the company's PBM objectives
