Test Computer Setup : Configure and maintain test computers, including installing necessary software, setting up test environments, and ensuring proper functionality for testing activities.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and quality assurance professionals, to ensure cohesive and efficient testing processes.
Documentation : Maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. Ensure thorough documentation of test results and issues for traceability and future reference.
Continuous Improvement : Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and tools. Propose and implement enhancements to improve test efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications :
Experience : Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in software testing, with a strong background in product manufacturing environments.
Technical Skills : Proficiency in Python for writing and automating test scripts. Experience with Jira or Confluence for defect tracking and documentation.
DAQ Systems : Hands-on experience in validating and working with data acquisition systems.
Lab Equipment : Familiarity with lab test equipment and experience setting up and configuring test environments.
Test Case Development : Proven ability to develop and execute detailed test cases and plans.
Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
