What You’ll Be Doing…

We want to improve our customer experience across our consumer products, delighting our customers with beautifully crafted products that put them in control. We’re looking for someone who can work independently to build and perform effective automation solutions, accelerating our end-to-end system tests, customer journey maps and production monitoring that make sure our products do what they’re supposed to do and improving our customer experience. In this role, you’ll work with engineers, architects, and development team members from product, Customer Experience, development and support teams’ hand in hand and deliver innovative customer focused products that improve our customer retention and revenue.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To The Following

  • Understanding business requirements, design conceptualization and the software life cycle.
  • Designing Automation framework and tools, writing key automation functions/utilities which can be reused by other test/dev engineers and help to build out a test suite to cover system-level automated smoke, regression and functional tests for web/mobile/router applications.
  • Designing dashboards/utilities/tools required to monitor test progress during development and application performance, health in the field
  • Contributing to team improvement initiatives and projects, including team tools, process changes, and test automation; production support systems.
  • Participating in design specification, requirement and technical documentation reviews;
  • Providing technical support for various products/projects with focus on customer experience

What We're Looking For...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Three or more years of relevant work experience.

Even better if you have experience with one or more of the following:

  • Experience with Test-Driven-Development/architecture, designing and writing automated framework/tools for front and backends using Java, Python or equivalent.
  • Experience in Appium/Selenium and computer vision library like OpenCV.
  • Prior experience in systematic verification of Cloud based services and APIs, exposure to SoapUI. Postman.
  • AI/ML models verification and testing experience will be advantage.
  • Familiarity with modern software engineering tooling (source code management, such as GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence) and practices (such as Agile Development).
  • Prior experience in software testing and agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to plan test cycles, drive test scenarios, develop test cases, develop test reports and ensure compliance with the quality metrics defined for the project.
  • Good to have experience with APM and analytics tools like Instabug, localytics.
  • Good to have experience tools similar to Splunk.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical field.
  • Prior NLU/NLP testing (using Alexa, any Voice Remotes).
  • Knowledge on network testing, router protocols, Linux containers.
  • Experience in web services.
  • Understanding of IP capture tools.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island, Washington or Washington, D.C. work location, the compensation range for this position is between $73,000.00 and $135,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
