About This Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Cost Analyst to join our team at Rite-Hite. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing costs, ensuring accurate inventory valuation, and collaborating with facility management to drive process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze manufacturing router times and recommend updates to ensure accuracy of labor costs in Bills of Materials.
- Develop and maintain accurate standard costs for assigned facilities, including labor and overhead rates, freight in estimates, and purchase costs.
- Collaborate with facility management teams to establish expense budgets and reforecasts as necessary, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Ensure system cost rolls are accurate, capturing ECN updates and maintaining standard costs.
- Prepare and improve management reports to analyze variances to standard cost, providing tools to monitor and manage production costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a four-year college or university.
- At least five years of experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in JD Edwards and Excel spreadsheets is preferred.
- Excellent operating and financial understanding of computer-based manufacturing systems.
