- Join Our Dynamic Rite of Passage Team as a Youth Care Worker at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, AZ, a community rooted in a rich agricultural history and known for cultivating growth both in its fields and in the lives of Youth-by fostering positive change and empowerment.
Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus surrounded by a Farm, Student Housing for 300 youth, a Thrift Store, Cafe, Barbershop and Church open to the community incorporating life skills for our students. Along with a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, and athletic center (gymnasium, padded wrestling room & more), Canyon State has it all!
Pay : $17.91 an hour
1,000 sign on bonus

What you will do : As a Youth Care Worker, you will provide round-the-clock supervision and support to ensure the safety and well-being of youth in our care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :

To be considered you should : Possess a high school diploma or equivalent ~ 1 year of working in a child welfare or agency setting ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Schedule : Two Shifts
A Shift Days – Sunday - Tuesday 8am - 9pm; Wednesday 8a-3p 1 hour break each day
B Shift Days –Every other Wednesday 2pm - 9pm; Thursday to Saturday 8a-9p 1 hour break each day
