General Summary :
The Financial Analyst interprets business situations in order to develop quality, timely and impactful financial analysis and effectively communicate the financial implications in a collaborative manner. This role provides key support role for development of budgets / forecasts across the organization and actively works with a variety of stakeholders, helping them to solve problems and achieve goals.
Essential Job Functions :
- Evaluates / quantifies impacts of various business scenarios and plans; provide detailed analytical support for ROI and other financial components of capital projects, new business opportunities, IT projects, sales and marketing initiatives, etc.;
- Analyzes the financial performance of the business, recognizing opportunities and concerns as they arise and consulting with other team members to develop alternatives for improving financial performance;
- Assists with the annual budget, periodic re-forecasts, and long range planning processes :
Develops budget models and templates – including revenue, cost of sales, overhead expenses, capital projects, balance sheets, cash flow;
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
