Responsibilities:
- Prepare engineering analysis of projects to include: preliminary design, calculation, life cycle cost and equipment selection.
- Prepare detailed calculations for instrument transformers and related equipment by hand or using existing design software.
- Develop new design tools as needed.
- Prepare clear, complete, and accurate working plans and detail drawings from rough or detailed sketches or notes for engineering or manufacturing purposes, according to specified dimensions by Computer Aided Design (CAD) system.
- Interprets drawings in various CAD formats including Inventor. Details to include all views and dimensions necessary for manufacture.
- Prepare engineering specifications.
- Prepare bills of material.
- Evaluates electrical and electromechanical products by designing and conducting research programs: applying electro-technical and electronic principles.
- Manage project issues, budgets, and schedules.
- Review and critique proposed changes to engineering standards, policies, or details.
- Review development plans for compliance with adopted engineering standards and good engineering practices.
- Coordinate the activities of the production team when implementing the manufacture of new products and resolving production problems.
- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Salary : $95,000 - $145,000
