Manufacturing Estimator

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented manufacturing estimator to join our team. The Manufacturing Estimator will be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, and resources associated with projects proposed for quotes. This role is essential in helping us secure competitive bids. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will ensure that our estimating and manufacturing processes run smoothly, contributing to overall operational success.

Duties

• Analyze project specifications and technical requirements to prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and materials.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to validate project details and ensure estimates are precise and feasible.
• Review project details to understand materials, labor, and equipment needs, and adjust cost estimates accordingly.
• Adjust estimates as project details evolve, maintaining accuracy throughout the quoting process.
• Works with purchasing to acquire all necessary materials to complete jobs on time. Performs additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with project estimating a must
• Ability to read blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proven math abilities with creative problem-solving abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Project estimating: 2 years (Required)
• ERP system: 1 year (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Cambridge, MN 55008: Relocate before starting work (Required)
