Ritz Safety is dedicated to providing convenient and cost-effective safety products and solutions to all people and industries, worldwide. With thirteen nationwide locations, we are looking to add a Customer Service Representative to our Tampa, FL location. The role of the Customer Service Representative is to manage, support and retain existing customers in the construction, industrial and manufacturing marketplace.
This is a demanding, “hands-on” position that requires the ability to handle incoming customer calls or assist walk-in customers with questions, quotes, order processing, technical or product information and recommendations. A great amount of telephone and email interaction with customers is required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support customer needs for safety products, equipment and services.
- Process customer orders, assists with product information.
- Represents the Company by telephone and email to qualify and influence existing customers to identify or develop new sales opportunities.
- Communicates product specials and other marketing programs to promote Ritz Safety and support customer retention.
- Collaborates with field sales, inside sales and other internal departments to manage sales activities, lead generation and to assure customer needs are met.
- Maintains and refines database of customers, contacts and prospective customers.
- Achieves defined sales goals and quota via an established sales process and plan.
- Proposes pricing and credit terms, and follows up on order payment.
- Tracks customers sales activities for account retention and development.
- Inputs customers data and information into CRM technology as needed.
- Provides ideas, recommendations and support regarding customer retention and new business development.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Experience and/or Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-2 years experience in an internal service-based support role.
- 3-5 years experience using Epicor Profit 21 in a wholesale distribution environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in use of computers and software (Excel, Word, Microsoft Office, CRM Software).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
