Job Description
We are looking to add a Warehouse Manager to our Dallas, TX location. The Warehouse Manager oversees all operations within the warehouse, ensuring the receipt, storage, and distribution of items. Managing the Inventory levels, coordinating the shipping and receiving processes, supervising warehouse staff, and maintaining safety standards set by Company Directors. Candidates must be able to work on their feet for extended periods of time and be able lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Performing Cycle Counts, managing stock rotations to maintain accurate inventory, and identifying potential stock discrepancies.
- Staff Supervision: Direct and assign daily/weekly tasks for warehouse personnel. Hiring, training, and managing warehouse staff, monitoring performance, and addressing employee concerns
- Receiving and Shipping: Overseeing the receiving process and ensuring product received is processed accurately, as well as, in an acceptable time frame. Ensure that customer orders are pulled, packed, and shipped accurately.
- Prepare necessary reports related to the production, accuracy and time standards designated for department(s).
- Warehouse Operations: Optimizing warehouse layout, managing and maintaining aisle/bin locations, coordination and use of warehouse equipment, and implementing company policies and improvements to increase efficiency. Ordering of Shipping/Packing materials –Boxes, Tape, Stretch Wrap, etc.
- Building/Location Operations: Handling of general building operations including but not limited to - Vehicle and Machine Maintenance, Lawn Care, Building Security Alarm and cameras, Heat and A/C, Plumbing and Electric, Waste Disposal, Pest Control, etc.
- Work closely with the purchasing/inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and or/Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2 years Warehouse Management or 3 years Lead experience.
- Shipping/Receiving Experience preferred.
- Inventory Management experience preferred.
- Communication Skills: able to clearly communicate with staff, customers, and other departments
- Organizational Skills: ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain order in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Problem Solving, ability to identify and resolve issues related to warehouse and operations
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach and walk for duration of shift.
- Proficient in use of computers and software (Microsoft Office, CRM Software) and warehouse management systems and related software.
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
