Job Overview:
Our direct client is seeking a skilled and experienced Boiler Technician to join our team in Omaha, NE. As a Boiler Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring, adjusting, and maintaining a variety of plant equipment, including boilers, hydraulics, pneumatics, potable water, steam distribution systems, and more. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of critical plant systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, adjust, and maintain operations of various plant equipment, including boilers, water systems, pumping systems, and more.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and fluid power systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- City of Omaha 3rd Grade Engineer’s License.
- Minimum of one (1) year of documented maintenance work experience or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program.
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in multiple skill clusters, such as electrical, electrical controls, fluid power, welding, fabrication, and mechanical systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing conditions and follow instructions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.14 - $34.69 per hour
