SUMMARY
The Partnerships Director is responsible for the strategic implementation and execution of equitable food distribution throughout River Bend Food Bank’s (RBFB) 23-county service area in collaboration with its Hunger Relief Partners, ensuring excellent customer service both internally and externally.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops and manages the execution of an equitable food distribution approach that aligns with our strategic priorities
· Creates long-term tactics and strategies that enables Hunger Relief Partners in all 23 counties to support people experiencing hunger in their communities
· Develops and maintains an Operational Response Plan for priority counties that are below the Feeding America standard of food insecurity
· Executes implementation of new Hunger Relief Partnerships, conducting initial site visits and ensuring the partnership is aligned with RBFB’s strategic plan
Works closely with the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Data Analytics Manager to implement innovative long-term goals and budgets that support RBFB’s Hunger Relief Partners
· Uses data from Link 2 Feed and Primarius to drive decision-making
Directly supervises Partnerships Team to ensure the successful collaboration and goals of RBFB’s Hunger Relief Partners and RBFB staff
· Ensures compliance with all federal, state, RBFB, and Feeding America requirements, record-keeping, monitoring and reporting for all programs and agencies
· Ensures regular communication and customer service standards between Partnership Managers and Hunger Relief Partners
· Ensures proper collaboration with Finance Team for Hunger Relief Partner budgets and
Serves as the liaison and subject-matter expert with state representatives regarding TEFAP, SNAP, and advocacy
· Serves on relevant and appropriate committees/councils to stay informed of updates with regulation and legislative polices that affect food banking in Iowa and Illinois and at a federal level
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in business, program development, communications, or a related field
· Demonstrated success in developing and evaluation programs operations
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
· Ability to prioritize and organize tasks, meet deadlines, and multi-task effectively
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to effectively present information and speak to groups of individuals, including employees, Board members and members of the public
· Ability to work well independently in a team environment
· Accurate typing and data entry skills
· Willingness to support the mission of the organization and to help end hunger in our area
· Ability to travel throughout the Food Bank’s service area as needed, with occasional out of town and overnight travel required
· Ability to work flexible hours, as needed, occasionally outside of regular business hours for special events and to support fundraising efforts
· Possession of a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
· Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment criminal background investigation and credit check

Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
