Full-Time Nanny & Household Manager
Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 6:30 AM – 11:00 AM
- Occasional flexibility may be needed
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Nanny & Household Manager to help care for our children and ensure the smooth operation of our home. The ideal candidate will be a warm and nurturing individual who enjoys working with children, has strong organizational skills, and can efficiently manage household tasks.
Responsibilities:
Childcare:
- Pick up and drop off children from school and activities
- Bathe and dress children for bed three days a week
- Take children to appointments as needed
- Provide care for children when they are home sick from school
- Help children with homework and prepare for tests
Household Management:
- Plan and prepare meals three days a week
- Keep a running list of household items needed and communicate with the employer
- Run miscellaneous errands for the family
Housekeeping & Organization:
- General house cleaning: sweep, vacuum, mop, clean bathrooms, wipe down surfaces
- Change bed sheets weekly
- Pick up toys and keep the home tidy
- Keep drawers and closets organized
- Clean the fridge and organize kids' drawers as needed
- Maintain a neat and organized living space
Laundry & Clothing Care:
- Wash, fold, and put away laundry
- Air dry designated clothing items
- Steam clothes for the week
- Iron clothes as needed
Pet Care:
- Bathe the family dog twice a month
- Feed and care for the dog
Daily & Weekly Task Breakdown:
- Monday: Grocery pick-up, meal planning, house cleaning, laundry, kitchen cleaning
- Tuesday: Deep cleaning (bathrooms, surfaces, kitchen), laundry, meal prep
- Wednesday: Steam clothes, laundry, transportation to activities
- Thursday: Laundry, bed sheet changes, additional household tasks (organizing, fridge cleaning), meal prep
- Friday: Final laundry, task catch-up, household list updates
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in childcare and household management preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to cook simple, healthy meals for the family
- Comfortable caring for pets
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Trustworthy, responsible, and proactive
