Overview
Here at River Cabinets, we are a non-automated, custom designed cabinet shop that can fulfill nearly any fine woodworking needs.
We are looking for a builder that has great attention to detail for our team. The ideal candidate will have some sense of general construction, operation of shop tools, as well as a large desire to learn. This role requires proficiency in using a tape measure, a good understanding of basic algebra, and the ability to 'think on your feet'. The Builder will be responsible for anything from reading blueprints to helping install cabinets.
Responsibilities
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to perform tasks accurately
- Produce and assemble various components throughout the cabinetry process
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with blueprint specifications
- Provide a professional representation of River Cabinets when dealing with customers and other trades
Ideal Experience
- Familiarity with various construction techniques
- Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools relevant to building tasks
- Can accurately build within tolerances of 1/32"
- The ability to acknowledge personal mistakes and grow from them
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
