Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Portable Restroom Account Manager is responsible for establishing, managing, and maintaining new and existing customer relationships while working cooperatively with Customer Service, Dispatch, and other members of the RCE in order to exceed customer expectations.
Essential Function:
- Generate new and repeat sales by providing excellent customer service in a timely manner
- Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific services
- Prepare contracts detailing the service and obtain sign contract from the customer
- Accurately process customer transactions such as work orders and service quotes; update databases as needed
- Assist field personnel with deliveries & pick-ups as needed
- Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling and up-selling
- Remain current on consumer preferences, changes in local codes, and product development
- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Develop scope of work and monitor/manage from bid to completion
- Maintain constant communication with customers, dispatch team, customer service, and finance in order to provide accurate and timely information
- Follow up on services to ensure customer satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred
- 2 years sales experience required
- Industry-specific experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English required. Ability to speak a second language a PLUS
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Proficient in the use of MS Office suite
- Data Entry and computer navigational skills
- Able to multitask
- Must be flexible and available to work some nights and weekends as needed
- Able to project a positive company image and interact professionally with customers and coworkers
- Must be able to continuously learn and retain the knowledge of new services and promotions
Physical Demands

The role requires the employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, stand for long periods of time, and lift/ carry heavy items for long periods of time. In addition, this role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while completing office-related work.
