Reports Directly to: ReStore Manager
Department: ReStore, Non-Exempt
Service week: Part-time, maximum of 20 hours per week
Position Objective
The ReStore Assistant Manager represents the Habitat brand through courteous interactions with potential donors and customers to support our mission and support ReStore operations
Specific Duties:
- Donation Pickups: Drive the donation truck to donor homes for pickups, ensuring safe and timely transportation of donations
- Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional service to donors and shoppers, addressing their inquiries and assisting with purchases.
- Donated Items Management: Evaluate, clean, and price donated items. Organize and display items on the sales floor.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a forklift and other necessary equipment (training provided).
- Team Collaboration: Attend and actively participate in staff and volunteer meetings.
- Miscellaneous Duties: Assist with various tasks as assigned to support the organization’s operations.
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
· Understand and support the Habitat for Humanity mission.
· Must be professional in appearance and a good ambassador of the Habitat brand.
· Ability to lift items over 50 lbs independently and larger items with team lift.
· Flexibility to work Tuesday through Saturday, including 4-5 special evening events throughout the year
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. (no CDL required)
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Ability to pass potential background check and/or drug screening
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
