Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Regional Compliance Officer to oversee LSBPSE requirements for guard licensing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll, LSBPSE guard training requirements, Microsoft Excel, LA Workforce Commission separation process, administrative support, and scheduling. The Regional Compliance Officer will be responsible for assuring that all guards are in compliance with the LSBPSE licensing requirements, all new hires are on-boarded according to government guidelines, and that payroll is submitted in a timely manner.
The Regional Compliance Officer for River City Security and Investigations will manage and coordinate the activities of all security staff at their assigned posts. They will execute all tasks related to maintaining standards in compliance with operating procedures.
Duties will include:
-Report to the Regional Director of Operations
- Conduct audits and keep track of employees that need training for LSBPSE guard licensing requirements
- On-boarding new hires using the Heartland application
- Verify clock in/out times using OfficerApps software
- Submit payroll weekly by way of calculating time sheets
- Will use Microsoft programs to organize job activities (Specifically, Microsoft Excel)
- File Separation notices using the LA workforce commission website
- Supervise and manage a team of officers in multiple locations
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives
- Assist with the hiring and terminations of personnel
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to team members, fostering a positive work environment
- Training new employees on their duties at each site and explaining company policies and procedures
- Managing paperwork as it relates to off-days, PTO, medical visits, vacation, court etc.
- Managing staff schedule
- Visiting sites periodically, back fill open posts if necessary
Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have experience with LSBPSE guard licensing requirements
- Must have experience with scheduling staff and timekeeping
- Must have experience using Officer reports/Officer Apps software
- Must have experience on-boarding new hires and be familiar with state and federal guidelines for employment
- Must possess an up-to-date Armed License through the Louisiana State Board Of Private Security Examiners (LSBPSE)
- Provide proof of at least two years of supervisory experience
- Provide proof of Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Provide an incident report writing sample
- Prior military or law enforcement experience is preferred
- Must be flexible and be able to work nights/ weekends
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must possess a valid state-issued drivers license and a clean motor vehicle driver report
- Must pass a background/ drug screening at point of hiring
