As a Feed Mill Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the feed mill, ensuring efficient production and quality control. Feed Mill Manager responsibilities include efficient and quality feed production, customer service and staffing.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
1.Provide excellent customer service.
2. Responsible for feed quality.
3. Assisting in developing and implementing plans to grow our Non-GMO and Organic feed business.
4. Make making sure all billing, inventory and cash procedures are followed.
5. Oversee that all company policies are follow with special attention to safety and credit.
6. Monitor inventory for quality and supply.
7. Schedule staff to manufacture feed, while controlling overtime and labor cost.
8. Work jointly with other RCC feed locations to maximize efficiency.
9. Oversee grain operations at the Athens location.
10. Document all grain transitions.
11. Report any safety concerns to VP of Feed.
12. Maintain professional appearance and clean and inviting work place.
Skills required:
1. 3 years Management experience or experience in related field is preferred.
2. Ability to effectively communicate with staff and customers.
3. Ability to learn to operate business related systems.
4. Strong mathematical skills.
