Director of Government Grants Salary: $45,000 - $50,000
Director of Development Responsibilities:
- Maintain grant proposal files and timetables for government funding activities
- Review and vet state and federal RFP's and identify/prioritize funding opportunities to support pathway programs, feeding initiatives and other health-related opportunities in addition to capital opportunities
- Complete and submit EITC and NAP renewals, new funding requests and reports to the Commonwealth of PA on the deadline dates
- Assist VP of Development in securing EITC donations
- Support special and capital campaign operations by building government funding plans, completing proposals, and administering the legislative components of government grants
- Administer government gifts, ensuring that all acknowledgments are completed and files are properly maintained
- Prepare presentations and reports as required
Director of Development Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 3 years of previous fundraising experience with non-profit organization
- Accountable and goal/deadline/detail-oriented with a proven, successful, grant track record
- Knowledge of grants.gov, EHB and other federal systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to develop and draft high level proposals
- Grant work including skill in corporate foundation, private foundation and government funding preferred
