Life After 21 Instructor
Doylestown, PA | Full Time, Hourly | Monday - Friday: 8:15am - 4:45pm | $16.83 - $19.23 per hour

What is needed for this job as our Life After 21 Instructor:
- 21 years of age
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or behavioral health concerns in a recreational or educational setting
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families and other staff members
- Are able to perform life saving skills in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Life After 21 Instructor:
- Supervise and engage participants through planned daily activities
- Assisting the Lead Instructor in monitoring the day to day functions of the Life After 21 program.
- Ability to provide compassionate care and support to individuals with disabilities
- Adapt program activities and provide support to meet participant's needs
- Complete incident/injury reports and other documentation as needed
- Log medications and obtain signatures from caregiver on a daily basis for medications administered
- Take attendance of participants
- Support the training and development of new hires
- Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and any incidents that occur.
- Maintain confidentiality of all participants
- Provide feedback to participants and parents/guardians on individual performance
- Develop positive relationships with participants, families, and staff through communication and actions
