STEM Enrichment Lead Instructor
Flemington, NJ | Part Time, Hourly | $25-$30 per hour

What is needed for this job as our STEM Enrichment Lead Instructor:
- 21 preferred
- Degree (or credits towards a degree) in a related STEM field
- 2 years experience working with children
- Current or prior experience in education, recreation, child psychology or related fields
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our STEM Enrichment Lead Instructor:
- Implementing lesson plans provided by the director with an enthusiastic approach and energy in order to spark a child's learning through a variety of unique mediums, including robotics, technical reading, and the extraordinary world of Minecraft
- Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational classes that accomplish the YMCA mission and goals
- Ensures classes are executed to meet the needs of all ages, levels and abilities of children and adjust plans as needed to accommodate every member of the class
- Be able to travel to different sites and help transport supplies/equipment
- Maintain knowledge of emergency and safety procedures; provide care in an emergency, document all incidents and accidents and report to your supervisor
- Attend training, organizational and staff meetings as requested by your supervisor
