River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a custodial worker to join our facilities/maintenance team. You will perform custodial work and general care for our main office to help provide an aesthetically pleasing and functional indoor environment.
LOCATION/SCHEDULE:
175 Emery Hwy, Macon, GA 31217 (Full-Time M-F 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general labor tasks, such as sweeping, cleaning, dusting, and stocking supplies.
- Keep facility in clean and orderly condition.
- Remove trash from all areas.
- Sweeps, dust mops, and wet mops all floors.
- Cleaning in offices, group rooms, restrooms, etc.
- Vacuums and spot clean carpets.
- Utilizes detergents, disinfectants, polishes, finishes, etc.
- Moves furniture and equipment as required.
- Assist with meeting set-up and tear down events.
- You will be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Custodial workers must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.
- Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred but not required.
- Two plus years of custodial/janitorial experience.
- Experience with hand and power tools a plus.
- Valid driver's license.
