River Edge is presently in search of Mental Health Licensed Clinicians. In this position, the licensed clinician will have an opportunity to contribute to the mental health field, working with a dynamic team to provide crucial support and care to individuals in need.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs psychosocial assessments, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning.
Provides counseling/therapy to clients requiring complex intervention.
Performs commitment determinations and/or execute orders of involuntary commitments.
Acts as client advocate to coordinate required services or to resolve crisis.
Refers client or family to community resources to help recover from mental or physical illness and provide access to services like financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement or education.
Organizes support groups or counsel family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, and supporting the client.
Identify environmental impediments to client of patient progress through interviews and review of patient records.
Determines the necessity for commitment in accordance with accepted standards of clinical practice.
Conducts psychosocial assessments/evaluations to develop comprehensive case/service plans.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Training & Experience:
Must be fully licensed or Associate Licensed as a LMSW, LAMFT, LAPC or LCSW, LMFT, LPC with experience with working with individuals with mental health and/or substance use.
