The full continuum of River Edge Behavioral Health services provides state-of-the-art treatment and support services for more than 13,000 children, youth, families and adults annually, who experience mental illness, addiction, co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities:
Guards, patrols, and monitor premises to help prevent theft, violence, and infractions of rules.
Secures and protects facilities in case of fires, natural disasters, or other hazardous events.
Answers alarms and investigates disturbances.
Escorts or drives motor vehicles to transport individuals to specified locations and to provide personal protection.
Inspects facility for fire, safety, or environmental hazards.
Responds to fires, natural disasters, or other hazardous events,
Delivers verbal warnings of rules infractions or violations.
Reports suspicious activity to Security Captain and/or designated authorities.
Other duties as assigned.
Location/Schedule: 60 Blandy Way, Milledgeville, GA 31061
6:00PM – 4:00AM/ work-3 days per week and Every Other Weekend - off 3 days per week.
2:00PM-12:00am/ work 3-days per week and Every Other Weekend and - off 3-days per week.
Qualifications Needed (education and/or experience):
Must have a high school diploma/GED equivalent.
Must be 21 years of age.
Professional security experience of some related nature is preferred.
Must be willing to work the available schedule offered, including overtime/weekends/holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 10 – 50 pounds whenever needed.
