IDD Program Assistant
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the IDD Administrative Services Supervisor. The Administrative Assistant provides essential support to the River Edge IDD Program and other departments by handling administrative tasks, patient interactions, and record-keeping to ensure smooth operations and a positive client experience. The position requires excellent customer service and public relations skills which include greeting visitors, answering phones, and screening callers for further access to the River Edge staff. Effective business writing skills are required in this position, as well as experience compiling and entering data.

Location/Schedule: 139 Woodfield Drive, Macon, Ga
Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00pm
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative support to the IDD program team
Responding to incoming calls during program hours
Monitoring and procuring general program supplies
Distributes mail
Maintains all files
Greet and assist onsite guests and patients
Manage workflow by ensuring administrative tasks are completed daily and deadlines are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED plus two years of business office experience.
Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail and organizational and time management skills
Demonstrate interpersonal and customer service skills with an ability to work effectively and harmoniously with a wide range of people, teams, managers, and supervisors.
Technology/computer proficiency, including basic computer skills which include MS Office, copy machine, scanner, and fax machine/software.
Valid Georgia driver’s license.
