Custodial Worker at The Crisis Service Diagnostic Center
The Crisis Service and Diagnostic Center is a program designed to offer individual tailored assistance and brief (up to 90-day) stabilization for a maximum of sixteen (16) adults aged 18 and above, who have intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or concurrent IDD/BH diagnoses. These individuals are facing psychiatric challenges and/or significant emotional/behavioral changes that are impacting their essential functions, potentially jeopardizing their ability to stay in their usual home environment.
River Edge Behavioral Health is seeking a custodial worker to join our new Crisis Service Diagnostic Center. You will perform custodial work and general care for our main office to help provide an aesthetically pleasing and functional indoor environment.

LOCATION/SCHEDULE:
750 Hazel Street, Macon, GA.
1st Shift (8am-4pm)
2nd Shift (4pm-12 midnight)
3rd Shift (12 midnight-8am)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform general labor tasks, such as sweeping, cleaning, dusting and stocking supplies.
Keep the facility in clean and orderly condition.
Remove trash from all areas
Floor tech experience - Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing floors for commercial buildings.
Cleaning in offices, group rooms, restrooms, etc.
Vacuums and spot clean carpets
Utilizes detergents, disinfectants, polishes, finishes, etc.
Moves furniture and equipment as required
Assist with meeting set-up and tear down
Performs other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Custodial workers must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
Two plus years of custodial/janitorial experience
Experience with hand and power tools a plus
Valid driver's license
