We are currently looking for a Human Resources Compliance Coordinator to work within our HR Department to coordinate the compliance function. The HR Compliance Coordinator will handle corporate compliance activities for all departments and locations across the organization.

Schedule/Location: 175 Emery Hwy, Macon GA; Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage unemployment claims process, including filings, appeals, and representing River Edge at hearings.
Administering HR policies and procedures across the agency
Maintaining and updating employees’ files: Full-time, part-time, and contract, and temporary agency staff.
Preparing employment status reports for payroll, HR and/or compliance purposes.
Processing and maintaining all workers’ compensation claims, unemployment requests, FMLA and leaves of absence.
Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism is maintained when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
Cross train with other members of the HR team to assist with all HR functions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and be able to learn other software applications as required.
Candidate needs to demonstrate good reasoning and decision-making skills.
Candidate needs to be an independent self-starter and should be able to work/network well cross all organizational levels.
Candidate needs to be able to multi-task and handle multiple priorities well.
