Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30AM-5PM
FLSA Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides a broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers, participates in treatment team planning, and performs crisis intervention.
Assists in dealing with personal and social problems.
May provide support to consumers and serve as a liaison for social services.
Prepares lesson plans for group topics, maintains medical records and documents daily group notes.
Performs case management duties, and group skills training and refers clients to needed services and resources.
Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a social service-related field (social work, sociology, psychology, etc.).
License eligible in one of the following: LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW
At least one (1) year experience working with behavioral health clients (mental health, substance abuse, developmental disabilities).
Previous experience as a group facilitator utilizing evidence-based curriculums.
All applicants must pass a satisfactory background clearance and pre-employment drug test.
