Responsibilities:
- Liaison between the Support Coordinators, Case Managers, and families.
- Monitors: Activities in day center; bowel tracking & changing schedules; medications; credentials; individual documentation books; and training compliance.
- Creates and follows the monthly schedule; coordinates staff meetings.
- Manages diets, lunches, and all activities connected with same.
- Schedule staff (schedules, PTO (Paid Time Off), manages point system) to provide adequate coverage.
- Orders supplies; oversees cleanliness of building.
- Monitors safety ensures appropriate safety drills and reports are completed and properly maintained, ensures inspections of equipment/fire extinguishers occur as needed.
- ISP planning for everyone in the Day Center.
- Oversees transportation scheduling, maintains vehicle inspections, upkeep, and repair reports.
- Research/plans events for individuals served.
- HRST updating.
- Two years' experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related human service field or higher
- One year at a lower level or position equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age.
