As the Office Manager, you will play a crucial role in the non-clinical aspects of our day-to-day operations, ensuring our patients receive top-notch care from the moment they walk through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the non-clinical aspects of the day-to-day operations, including front desk functions such as scheduling, collections, recall, and waiting room volume.
- Assist with administrative functions, including insurance negotiations, deposits, monthly reviews, scheduling, and employee management.
- Ensure the financial performance of the revenue cycle by overseeing patient scheduling, registration, financial counseling, medical records, billing and collection, data entry and processing, and cash posting.
- Foster a culture of excellent patient care among all staff members.
- Maintained and manage filing and organizational systems for the practice.
- Proactively troubleshoot patient complaints and develop process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction.
- Support business goals by effectively utilizing schedules and contributing to practice revenue objectives.
- Adhere to River Edge Dental policies, professional expectations, clinical service excellence, and outstanding patient service.
- Develop, implement, and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Interview, hire, and train a productive medical office team and conduct performance reviews.
- Coordinate staff meetings for administrative and clinical staff.
- Manage logistics for internal and external meetings and conferences.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels for day-to-day operations.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, labor laws, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Health Care Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a dental office setting.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management position.
- Strong knowledge and experience in billing
- Human resources experience, including hiring, supervision, and performance reviews.
- Excellent patient care skills.
- Ability to write policies and procedures effectively.
- Experience with Dentrix is beneficial
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
- Professional communication and presentation skills across various mediums.
- Knowledge of continuous process improvement concepts and practices.
- Ability to communicate professionally with various stakeholders, from dentists and hygienists to patients and suppliers.
