Job Description
Nurses are the backbone of a strong clinical culture, ensuring high-quality care, promoting resident and staff safety, and driving excellence in our facility.
- Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatments using approved techniques.
- Evaluate residents' charts to ensure they are current and accurate.
- Monitor residents' conditions, recording significant changes and reactions.
- Notify relevant parties of residents' changes in condition and response to medications, treatments, and incidents.
Responsibilities
- Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess residents' condition.
- Keep families and physicians informed of changes in resident behavior, medications, or health conditions.
- Modify care plans, directives, and activities of daily living (ADL) in conjunction with residents' changes in condition.
Maintaining up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification is essential. One year of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred.
