Hello! Have you ever dreamed of working in a bakery but didn't necessarily want to do the baking? Get to smell the wonderful smells, taste the delicious baked goods? Well lucky for you we are looking for the perfect candidate to assist our owner and manger in the office at the bakery. This person will be highly motivated, energetic, organized and works well independently. We are looking for someone hard-working to undertake a variety of office support tasks. This person must have a high attention to detail.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Keep office organized and assist owner/manager in ways that optimize procedures
- Manage office email/phone/messages
- Coding invoice
- Entering bank deposits
- Tracking payroll hours
- Invoicing our accounts
- Entering and paying monthly bills
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
Skills
- Proven experience as a back-office assistant, office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
- Knowledge of computer systems, Excel, Word, etc.
- QuickBooks
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
Work Location: In person
