We are seeking a Marketing & Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic team and help elevate the River Run Dental brand. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies that promote our services, drive new patient growth, and engage with our internal employee and patient communities to the end goal of reputational excellence. The ideal candidate will be self-starting, solution-oriented, proactive, creative, organized, with a demonstrated understanding of social media content development, event management and marketing inventory management. They will be willing to work in-office in hoteling space with others and have a positive, friendly customer-service oriented demeanor.
Benefits include health insurance, dental benefits and PTO. Compensation starts at $25/hr with a commitment of 32 hours (4 days) / week.
Responsibilities
Social Media Management - 30%
- Design and author content for multiple Meta-based social media accounts
- Schedule social media content across multiple platforms
- Respond to comments and direct messages from social media accounts
Marketing Inventory Management - 25%
- Manage marketing inventory for all River Run offices including patient gifts and promotional materials, event supplies and staff anniversary gifts
- Manage all expenses; confidence reporting readily and accurately on expenses as needed
- Manage relationships with vendors including seeking quotes, collaborating with Practice Managers on existing supplies, and present final quotes to Senior Manager
Community Engagement - 35%
- Arrange promotional opportunities
- Manage details and arrangements associated with planning and execution of practice events
- Represent practice at events
- Review sponsorship and fundraising requests, elevate to Marketing Manager. as needed
- Manage patient referral programs and associated gifts
Marketing Analytics - 10%
- Monthly new patient referral source analysis
- Complete other marketing and data analytics projects as needed
- Reconcile marketing receipts monthly
Qualifications
- Ideally 5 years of experience in marketing, social media and event management.
- Demonstrated experience with corporate marketing budget principles & using historical data to make informed decisions required.
- Demonstrated experience using Instagram and Facebook for frequent content development and response management. Enjoyment of social media. Comfort with “rallying” team members in order to create great social content. Precision when editing content or reviewing marketing materials to ensure consistency and professionalism.
- Experience in promoting community events, health fairs, or patient appreciation events—particularly those targeting local audiences—required.
- Experience balancing tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, and execute projects efficiently in a hoteling environment required.
- In-depth knowledge of Canva required. Proficiency with Adobe CS a plus. Basic knowledge of design principles, HTML and web structure preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple marketing projects at once. Experience using Trello, Kanban boards or other project management tools preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to self-start and work with a high level of independence.
