POSITION SUMMARY:
The Business Office Assistant will be assist with all patient pay collections and hospice billing monthly, assure accurate data entry of client information, record and tie out census daily, and support the facility with resident trust and fund activity for banking purposes. You will assist with all other assigned duties.
Education & Qualifications:
- Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
- An Associate’s Degree, or higher, is preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions.
- Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers, support agencies and community staff in the performance of duties.
- Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
- Must have experience collecting information and processing applications for LTC Medicaid.
- Must have, as a minimum, two (2) year(s) experience in a long-term care business office or other related healthcare setting.
Shift & Wage:
- Part-Time Opportunity Available
- Shifts Needed: Flexible, 20 hours per week, work hours to fall between 8am-5pm, Monday- Friday.
- Wage: $20.00-$25.00, based on experience
