What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Specialist position at River Valley Cooperative?
An Administrative Specialist maintains the highest level of accuracy in the daily billing of products and services, taking payments on accounts and providing support to personnel and customers.
What you'll do:
- Responsible for A/R accounting
- Review A/R aging report
- Accurately bill out products and services
- Enter and maintain customer contracts
- Send out and maintain delivery agreements
- Order product for customers
- Maintain inventory
- Responsible for end-of-day and end-of-month balancing and reporting of the cash drawer & credit card receipts.
- Forward all A/P bills to the appropriate person for coding and approval daily
- Maintain compliance with the Cooperatives credit policy
- Assist customers with account inquiries by answering phone calls
- Maintain accurate records
- Practice and promote safety at all times
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization

What you'll bring:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Office application
- Valid driver's license
Working Conditions:
May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, ag chemicals and vapors, and moving machinery on occasion as part of this position.
