Eurythmy Teacher | 2025-2026 School Year
River Valley Waldorf School is seeking a Eurhythmy teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative teacher to bring Eurhythmy to students in grades K-8. The position requires a high level of organization, a genuine love of teaching and learning, and the desire and facility to collaborate with colleagues and participate in faculty work. The ideal candidate must also be willing to commit to the ongoing work of diversity, equity, and inclusion and have familiarity or interest in best practices of Waldorf education.
General Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Eurythmy Teacher to join our faculty. The Eurythmy Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate eurythmy instruction to students from Kindergarten through eighth grade as well as other teaching duties including supporting class plays, academic skills lessons, and support periods.
- Bring engaging Eurythmy and movement experiences to students
- Support for class plays
- Support recess and other daily duties
- Support skills lessons
- Participation in faculty meetings and the school’s festival life
- Occasional evening events such as parent evenings and open houses
Qualifications
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree and a recognized eurythmy diploma from the Performing Arts Section of the Goetheanum. They should have a strong interest in and appreciation for Waldorf education, along with a commitment to professional growth through ongoing education in Waldorf teaching. The role requires versatility, enthusiasm, punctuality, and creativity to engage and inspire students effectively.
Hours and Compensation
This position is an 80% full-time position.
Salary ranges from $32,000 – $48,000 based on education and experience.

The 7-acres of River Valley Waldorf School sits on forested hills that overlook the Delaware River on unceded Lenni-Lenape land.
