Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our metal and miscellaneous warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of materials, and maintaining the organization of metal products and miscellaneous items within the warehouse. Key Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Operations Management:
- Supervise the receiving, storing, and distribution of metal materials and miscellaneous items to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Ensure proper labeling, organization, and location of all inventory to facilitate efficient access and retrieval.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to perform at optimal levels.
- Assign daily tasks to warehouse associates and monitor performance, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Promote a positive and safe working environment, fostering teamwork and productivity.
- Inventory Control:
- Oversee inventory management, including regular stock checks, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
- Work with purchasing and logistics teams to manage stock levels and avoid shortages or overstocking of materials.
- Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety audits and lead safety training sessions for warehouse personnel.
- Address and resolve any safety concerns promptly.
- Material Handling:
- Oversee the safe handling, loading, and unloading of metal and miscellaneous materials, ensuring proper lifting techniques and the use of appropriate equipment.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean and organized, maintaining clear aisles and safe working conditions.
- Reporting and Documentation:

- Continuous Improvement:

Qualifications:

- Familiarity with metal materials, tools, and handling equipment is a plus.
- Proficient in warehouse management software (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
