The ideal candidate will manage court cases and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients in the immigration law setting. This individual will build client relationships and provide an excellent customer experience for clients. Responsibilities
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial, including gathering evidence and preparing witnesses.
- Provide legal advice to clients on matters related to immigration law.
- Maintain accurate records of all legal proceedings and client communications while ensuring confidentiality.
- Collaborate with paralegals and attorneys on complex cases, contributing insights and research findings to enhance case outcomes.
- Attend court hearings and client meetings as necessary to represent the firm’s interests effectively.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the bar in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- Strong knowledge of Immigration law or a strong willingness to learn and get up to speed quickly.
- Proficiency in legal research methodologies
- Excellent writing skills with a demonstrated ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple cases simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Prior experience in legal administrative roles or internships is a plus but not required.
