Server: Riverboats at the Gateway Arch ($15.00/hr $500 Hiring Incentive)

Expectations:
- Always have a positive, friendly, and approachable demeanor while having fun!

- Be prompt and accountable when you are scheduled to work.
- Follow the dress code by wearing your uniform.
- Maintain an alert, professional appearance even when not actively engaged with guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure excellent guest service by taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Deliver orders to guests in a timely manner, ensuring presentation and quality standards are met.
- Refill drinks and attend to any additional needs of passengers throughout their dining experience.
- Clear and reset tables promptly during cruises and after guests have finished their meals
- Ensure dining and all other areas of the vessel are clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction during cruises.
- Assist with the setup and break down of dining areas before and after service.
- Efficiently flip the boat and coordinate with team for seamless transitions between different charters/dinner cruises ensuring all settings and preparations meet guest standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines including complying with health and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of pricing, menu items, and general cruise information.
- Monitor and work to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals at all Points of Sale.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
- Engage incoming and departing guests in a warm, genuine and friendly manner, answer guest inquiry line, provide directions, and help maintain cleanliness and organization of dock when working as a greeter.
- Perform side work duties such as setting up dining area on boat, refilling condiments, rolling silverware, cleaning dock, replenishing concessions, and cleaning menus.
- Assist with stocking and restocking supplies as necessary in the gift shop, dry storage, coolers, etc.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must pass alcohol and drug screening.
- Must pass basic background check.
- Must pass math proficiency questionnaire (located in employee application).
- Willing to work on a moving vessel in water and outdoors (hot and cold environments).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays?
Skills & Abilities:
- Exceptional guest service skills
- Ability to learn pricing, menu items, and general cruise information
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Able to carry/lift up to 50lbs
- Able to work in a standing position for 3 continuously and up to 9 hours per day
- Ability to continuously carry trays/plates up and down stairs
- Able to bend and stoop
$500 Hiring Incentive
- 1st payment - $150 following successful completion of 30 days of employment
- 2nd payment - $150 following successful completion of 90 days of employment
- 3rd payment - $200 following successful completion of 150 days of employment
*Employees must work at least 15.5 hours per week to be eligible

Typical Summer Season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) Hours of Operation are 7 a.m. to 1 a.m.

Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day
