Riverhawk Company is seeking a skilled Electronics Test Technician to join our dynamic team in New Hartford, NY. As an Electronics Test Technician, you will play a vital role in the testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and documentation of our proximity probes and torque meters.
What You'll Do:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation to ensure proper test procedures are followed
- Inspect populated circuit boards and assembled cables for proper configuration, solder integrity, and compliance with specifications
- Perform leak checks on products using industry-standard methods and equipment
- Calibrate proximity probes to precise tolerances using specialized tools and calibration equipment
- Prepare and assemble housings and probes, including the application of sealing compounds, epoxies, and mechanical fasteners
- Potting of electronics with various epoxies
- Conduct final inspections and functional checks on probes and housings to ensure product performance and quality
- Accurately track and record serial numbers for all tested components to maintain traceability and compliance
- Log and report test results into production databases and/or quality control systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve testing or component issues, escalating when appropriate to engineering or quality teams
- Format, print, and assemble test documentation and certifications for customer shipment paperwork
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to identify process improvements and ensure continuous product quality
- Abide by safety guidelines set forth by OSHA, DEC, and Riverhawk Company
What We Need:
- A two-year degree in electronics engineering or a related field
- A minimum of two years of experience in electronics testing or electronics technician position preferred
- Experience reading and understanding technical drawings, prints, and schematics
- Experience using measuring and testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Experience with soldering
- Experience with electronic circuits
- Computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarity with Visual Basic for Applications preferred
- Familiarity with analog circuitry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- The ability to work with all employees across all departments, including quality, engineering, and manufacturing

- Pay range - $21.00-26.00/hr (please note that this range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skills, and education as they relate to the position's qualifications.)
