Responsibilities : JOB DESCRIPTION
Outside Sales Support - Architectural
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
Provide accurate material estimates based on information provided by the Outside Sales Rep.
Daily adherence to operational procedures for activities such as order processing, customer excellence, billing, deliveries, etc.
Assists outside sales rep and keeps sales representative and customers apprised of revised information on products or merchandise such as product capability, availability, pricing, credit, warranties, and shipping.
Anticipates and resolves problems timely and accurately.
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
Provide estimates of date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules and expedite deliveries when necessary.
Enters pertinent information into CRM based on their activities.
Purpose of this role is to assist and support Sales Reps in pursuit of Architectural Hardware Sales.
Concurrently this position affords the candidate time to learn the nuances of specialty hardware supply and provides a team atmosphere where one can be properly supported.
This is an inside position and is based in the Hampton Bays Showroom.
Client interaction is required, predominantly via telephone and email.
Excel is used daily to prepare quotes and estimates.
AS400 proficiency will be required, including :
o Order entry, Order research, PO research, RTV Entry, Inventory, Transfers
Vendor specific training will be available from Manufacturers.
With active engagement transition to Outside Sales should take between 3-5 years.

Requirements :
- Fluent in various manufacturer quoting programs.
- Experience a plus.
- Must be proficient in Excel and MS office
- Willing to train candidate with industry experience or comparable education
