Outside Sales Support - Millwork
We are a large corporate industry leader in building supplies employing over 800 friendly people on Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.
- Responsibilities:
- Staff the millwork showroom on a daily basis.
- Assist customers with all millwork sales in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships to capture as much sales as possible.
- Provide accurate material estimates based on information provided by outside sales reps when assisting with quotes.
- Display or demonstrate product, using samples or catalog, and emphasize salable features.
- Provide estimates of date of delivery to customers, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules and expedite deliveries when necessary.
- Track stock levels.
- Enter pertinent information into CRM based on activities.
- Qualifications:
- Fluent in various manufacturer quoting programs.
- Millwork experience a plus. Willing to train an exceptional candidate with transferable skills.
- Must be proficient in Excel and MS Office.
- Bilingual a plus.
- Weekend availability required.

The Role:
This is a great position for someone looking to grow within the building industry with a particular focus on windows, doors, trim, architectural hardware, and wood flooring. Staffs the showroom and provides service to all customers as well as supports outside salespeople in preparing estimates and tracking job progression for their customers.
