What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vacation Rental Cleaner position at Riverhouse Airbnb?
Seeking a reliable cleaner with an attention for detail and the ability to work within a time-frame. During the busier season (May-October) there are often room turnovers that need to get done between 11am checkout and 4pm check in. Flexibility with cleaning hours on days that aren't turnovers. 10-30 hours a week depending on the bookings that week and the season (busy season will generally be in the 20-30 range). Reliable transportation is necessary. Weekend availability is a plus. We like friendly and kind people - many of our employees have become good friends. Prior cleaning / vacation rental experience is strongly recommended and preferred. All supplies provided.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of vacation rental properties, ensuring all areas are sanitized and presentable for guests.
- Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
- Floor care, including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed.
- Timely and accurate communication with managers if repairs are necessary or other issues come up.
- Rotating deep clean tasks such as ceiling fans, baseboards, windows, shower grout, etc.
