What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting and Escrow position at Riverland Homes, Inc.?
We are home building company looking for a full time employee to perform a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks at our corporate office in Granite Bay.
Duties Include:
- Weekly Accounts Payable
- Coordinate & Process Documents for Escrow
- Assisting with Payroll (Timecards, PTO tracking, Data Entry)
- Project/Lot Cost Breakdowns (set up and maintain)
- Processing change orders with subcontractors
- Cost Reconciliations for Closed Homes
- Lot sale closing entries
- Prepare invoices as needed
- Credit Card transaction download and reconciliations
- Expense Report tracking and reimbursements
- Bookkeeping entries / Light Data entry
- Making Deposits
- Insurance tracking
- Help with projects, as needed
- May be delegated higher level tasks, depending on education and experience
This is a full time in-office position but we can offer some flexibility. We are a small company but this position will handle accounting tasks for a wide range of projects and ventures.
Position Requirements:
- Highly organized and Highly detailed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Ability to pass background check and valid CA driver license
- At least 2 years Prior Bookkeeping/Accounting experience
Qualifications that would be a plus:
- Experience with a homebuilder or contractor
- Experience with QuickBooks Pro Desktop
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Notary Public
